Paint a magical Mandala stone
About this date
Fancy doing something artistic but don't think you're creative? Or want to add another string to your bow and learn something new? Join your host Natasha Alexander in her home where she will guide you step-by-step through the process of creating a beautiful dot-mandala on a beach pebble. If you don't know (we don't blame you!), the word Mandala comes from the Sanskrit language and means 'Holy Circle'. Mandalas exist everywhere in nature - flowers, for example, are natural mandalas. Discover the magic of a mandala for yourself in this relaxed painting session, perfect for both beginners and experienced artists. Manalas are often used for meditation and contemplation across a variety of Spiritual traditions, so you can feel the stresses of everyday life melt away as you reach ultimate relaxation through creativity. The session lasts 2.5 - 3 hours, all the materials are provided and you'll be free to take your beautiful creation home as a reminder of your time together. Natasha's home in Compton Martin village sits on the edge of the Mendips with beautiful walks and views; plus it has a great pub with great grub. Why not make a day of it?! Here's a review from a recent customer: I highly recommend Natasha's workshop. I’m not an artist so what I produced totally exceeded my expectations. I was still on a high the next morning! To come away with something I had made was really special.” Tasha H, Bristol.
